It also comes with a gorgeous 4" display, a decent assortment of Apps, and an HSPA+21 radio set for T-Mobile make the Lumia 521 the absolute best value on the market today.
Surpassing the performance of anything Android can offer up in the price range, the Lumia 521 simply is out classing the competition. At a price that most people pay for a mid range handset on contract, you can leave the store contract free and carrier free if you'd like. Though the phone is still locked to T-Mobile, you can choose Spot Mobile, Simple Mobile or any other T-Mo MVNO as your carrier of choice for the 521.
Overall, there isn't a better value on the market today. Sure the 512MB of RAM may struggle slightly with some of the more power draining Apps from the Store, but if that is the only compromise you have to make, shouldn't you land one today?
